Orthopedic/Sports Rehab

At Empowered PT, each client will go through a thorough evaluation during their first session. This involves looking at movement patterns, range of motion, strength, and mobility of the soft tissue and joints. We then review the findings with the client and works with them to create the most effective treatment plan to optimize their movement and function. This treatment plan involves different forms of manual therapy including:

  • soft tissue mobilization

  • dry needling

  • cupping

  • stretching

  • joint mobilizations/manipulations                     

 This is usually followed up with a series of corrective exercises and movement modifications based on the individual's assessment.

The “diagnosis” is only one part of the equation. Looking at how a person moves and functions will often give a better picture of where the person is at in terms of their recovery. We take the time to look at the whole picture with each client to give them control of their recovery.

Post-Operative Rehab

Recovering from a surgery requires a comprehensive and tailored approach. We design personalized rehabilitation programs to restore your mobility, strength, and confidence while working closely with your surgeon.
